Tesla announced today that its Megacharger network has reached 500 operational stations across the United States, a milestone that significantly bolsters the infrastructure for the company's Semi trucks and Cybertruck fleet.
Each Megacharger station delivers up to 1.5 megawatts of charging power, enabling the Tesla Semi to add 400 miles of range in approximately 30 minutes. The stations are strategically placed along major freight corridors.
The expansion also benefits other EV manufacturers adopting the NACS connector standard, with over a dozen brands now compatible with Tesla's charging network.
